AZWAN RAHIM

Based in Kuala Lumpur, I am an independent documentary photographer and filmmaker. I am drawn to the people and places that shape everyday life, both locally and beyond. For more than a decade, I have photographed and filmed on factory floors, construction sites, plantations, in hospitals, classrooms, rural communities, and within organisations across the public and private sectors.

 

I prefer to understand the work before I photograph it. That means spending time on site, observing, and allowing people to get on with what they do. This approach led me to establish Oneshot Still Motion, the production company through which I undertake my documentary photography and film work.
